Brochure title:
JSATS-Acoustic Telemetry for the Evaluation of Fish Behavior and Survival
Description:
The Juvenile Salmon Acoustic Telemetry System (JSATS) employs acoustic transmitters and receiving systems to remotely track fish in 3D with sub-meter accuracy. JSATS allows for the monitoring of the behavior, movement, habitat use, and survival rate of juvenile salmonids migrating from freshwater into saltwater and is used throughout the world to monitor how different species of fish behave in relation to waterpower structures. Over one hundred thousand fish have been tagged with JSATS tags in the past decade.
